I am a wife, friend, daughter and sister. I received my bachelors in nursing and am current working as a registered nurse in an open heart ICU. In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and love chatting over coffee. When I am not working you can also find me in my sewing room/ office working on the latest project. I love to sew and decorate my house.
Things you may not know about me:
I love coffee- if you know me, then you know I love me some coffee. I prefer independent coffee shops, but I am not going to bash Starbucks because you got to give it to them-they get it right almost every time.
In my free time I love to curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee and read my Real Simple Magazine, Country Living, and BHG.
I watch the Bachelor-mindless entertainment. I also love my HGTV, TLC and I love to watch NCIS with my husband.
I played field hockey throughout high school and for a year in college. It is my favorite sport!
I am a Virginia fan! yes yes I know, all of you hokie birds, we won't discuss game scores and let downs, but its my alma mater, so they get my vote. Wahoo-wah!
I enjoy trying out new funky restaurants, either locally or when traveling. Not the biggest fan of commercialized eateries. Some of my favorite local spots are Isabella's and Rivermont Pizza.
It brings a smile to my face when I see vacuum marks on the carpet-weird I know, but it looks so clean.
I have one real brother, one step-brother and three step-sisters. One big happy family.
My daughter's name is Foster, she is a great dane lab mix. Weighing in around 100 lbs, she resembles a miniature pony.
